Silke Langenberg is Professor of Construction Heritage and Monument Conservation at ETH Zurich. Her professorship is part of the Institute for Monument Conservation and Historical Building Research and the Institute for Technology in Architecture.
Silke studied architecture in Germany and Italy. At ETH Zurich, she deals with theoretical and practical challenges of inventorying and constructive preservation of monuments as well as younger and very young building stocks. Her research focuses on the rationalization of construction processes as well as the development, repair and long-term preservation of serially, industrially and digitally manufactured buildings.
