Submission of applications
All documents to be submitted can be uploaded to the website by December 21, 2024 at the latest. Submission is exclusively digital. Documents submitted in paper form will not be considered.
The following data, among others, will be requested for submission Project title, location, year of completion, brief description of the project, statement on the criteria, addresses of those involved in the project such as client, architect/planner, engineer, etc.
Your project will appear on the prixbeton.ch website under "Entries" once all the data has been definitively entered. However, you can update your data at any time. If you would like to register several projects, you can do so in the same user account.
Buildings can be submitted that were completed in Switzerland or Liechtenstein between January 1, 2020 and December 1, 2024 and in which concrete is used predominantly or in a convincing combination with other materials.
Languages
Entries can be submitted in German, French or English. The jury and the public award ceremony will be held in German.
Multiple entries
Multiple entries are permitted, provided they meet the requirements of the call for entries and are complete.
Self-declaration
By signing the self-declaration, the submitters fully accept the conditions of this invitation to tender and all decisions of the jury (including discretionary decisions). In addition, the submitters confirm that they:
- have unrestricted copyright exploitation rights to the submissions;
- are entitled to accept any award;
- will not assert any claims for damages against Betonsuisse;
- will make any documents submitted or subsequently supplied on request available to the awarding authority free of charge for publicity purposes.
Copyright declaration
By submitting their entries, participants confirm that they are the intellectual authors of the submitted works and agree to their publication in the context of publications, exhibitions, the Internet and social media.
Media
They also declare that the competition work is free of third-party rights (e.g. photographers). If third party rights exist, the relevant consent for publication and exploitation has been granted. There is no entitlement to remuneration from BETONSUISSE Marketing AG.
Preliminary examination
The submissions will be formally and materially checked for compliance with the criteria and requirements of the invitation to tender prior to evaluation. Significant violations of the formal and material requirements will lead to exclusion from the procedure.
Publication
The award procedure will be published on prixbeton.ch, in the specialist media and on the Betonsuisse channels. The landing page prixbeton.ch is the official website. All information and documents can be obtained there and submissions can also be uploaded.
